The Prime Minister's
Federation Message 2001
On the first day of the New
Year 2001, the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr John Howard, made the
following statement in his Federation address to the Nation.
(1) "Australia is a
Country of Equality and justice"
(2) "Australia is a
Nation of Freedom and Individual Liberty."
If you know the Prime
Minister, please ask him if he considers compulsory mass medication with a
poisonous fluoride pollutant qualifies as Individual Liberty. People in
Australia have not asked for that compulsory daily drugging with a fluoride
pollutant waste by-product from foreign fertilizer factories, indeed the
people have protested against fluoridation, but have been ignored by
politicians of every persuasion. Why this fluoridation great togetherness
and affirmation on a health matter, devoid of even microscopic scientific
evidence of safety, and perhaps in another way fluoridation is devoid of
even microscopic scientific honesty. There is no justice in
compulsory mass medication and Equality is more meaningful for the
multi-national combines, so well serviced by Australian Governments, not to
be confused in any manner, "for the people".
Poll for Wyong Shire
The Wyong Shire Council
N.S.W., 12th July, 2000 supported the following motion:
"That in accordance
with Section 14 of the Local Government Act, Council conduct a poll of
electors in conjunction with the ordinary election of council to be held
in September 2003 seeking guidance on whether or not Wyong Shire Council
should continue to fluoridate its water supply."
Fluoridation in that area
is history. The Australian Fluoridation News 1984 reported the
accusation that the State Government was "blackmailing" the Gosford Council
over costs to ratepayers if they wanted clean, unfluoridated water in their
city. (Gosford's water is partly supplied by Wyong Shire). The State
Government Heads informed Gosford Council that the cost for clean water
would be in excess of $10,000,000.00. History shows the Department of Public
Works presented a new estimate for the same job to cost only $500,000, quite
a difference from the original $10,000,000. The N.S.W. Government's quote
for a separate pipeline would be charged to the people of Gosford per
capita, on rate notices. At the last minute on opening of Council meeting
(Central Coast Express, 21st September 1984), a revised quotation arrived!
The new quotation was only $500,000. That provoked angry reactions from City
Mayor and Councillors. The late quotation of $500,000 brought the following
comment from one of the Councillors:
"It appears to me like
a form of blackmail, I do not know if this is true or not, but that is the
way it looks to Council."
Another Councillor had no
qualms at all about describing the incident as a:
"Blatant attempt to
blackmail on the part of the Public Works Department."
Another Councillor stated:
"I want to go on
record as saying this is yet another example of how State Government
Departments hold Local Government and the public in contempt."
Gosford now comes under the
jurisdiction of Wyong Shire Council and the people of Gosford must surely be
rejoicing in this late improvement in democratic Local Government. The
people of Wyong and Gosford will be aware of the kind of opposition to their
freedom of choice regarding what they drink, because most definitely they
will call for fluoride pollution free water. The fluoride tooth fairy tales
will already be in production to assault the population. They will have as
much credibility as the 1984 fluoridation fiasco of democratic honesty, but
most know fluoridation promotion has no science and little honesty.
DENTAL WEEK AUSTRALIAN STYLE 2000
The Australian Dental
Association with the help of the reported: media throughout Australia
published their Dental Week scientific message to the population on
fluoridation. Several spokespeople from the A.D.A. supplied their
Association's scientific evaluation of fluoridation and its effect on
children's teeth.
"1. Dental Week 2000
starting next Sunday, August 6, shows the shift is leading to more dental
visits and a rise in dental decay!" (Adelaide Sunday Mail, July 2000).
Adelaide was fluoridated in
1971, a 30 year experiment that has failed. Their reason stated is:
"Preference for
bottled fluoride free water. The South Australian President of the A.D.A.
is reported - 'Dr. Lidums said that even if people do not like the flavour
and smell of tap water, they could use it when these characteristics were
not obvious, for instance, when making cordial, ice cubes, or mixes, or in
soup and other cooking'."
Another message by Dr John
Bergman, A.D.A., obviously from the same nerve-centre of the A.D.A., stated:
"Drinkers who didn't
like the smell or taste of fluoridated tap water, could disguise it in
soups, cordials, or ice cubes." (Daily Telegraph, 7th August, 2000)
After 30 years of
fluoridation in Adelaide, the Dental profession is looking for more money to
treat children's teeth. It was reported, 6th August, 2000, that the Variety
Club, South Australia had given the Adelaide Dental Hospital a grant of
$400,000 which will increase capacity by 50%, giving more children access to
orthodontic treatment. "We can't meet all the demand."
"The Frome Road site
also has benefited from a $750,000 State Government Grant to upgrade the
facility."
Remember what Professor
Elsden Storey of Melbourne University reported to the Age, 24th August,
1984. Professor Storey occupied the Chair of Child Dental Health.
"In the old days it
was threepence for a tooth fairy. These days it can well be a bill of
several thousand dollars for the Orthodontist. The fruits of fluoridation,
introduced in Melbourne 7 years ago, have borne a new generation of
children with wonderful and expensive teeth which (in the words of
Professor Storey) jostle for room in the overcrowded dental arch."
Storey said since
fluoridation their research has "shown that 40% of children need orthodontal
treatment to correct wayward, malformed, and crowded teeth."
Professor Storey said that
the upsurge in dental awareness that accompanied the introduction of
fluoridation could produce great anxiety for parents.
"The next thing
they find is that they can't afford to have them treated."
These words from the Chair
of Child Dental Health, Melbourne University. Dental propagandised science
is like the continuous swinging of a pendulum, never stationary in one
direction, and suddenly changing to the opposite with nothing in between the
ears! Only a few years after the Victorian Government passed the Compulsory
Fluoridation Act in which dental decay and dentists would be "history",
panic broke out in Government. Something of reality appeared. On 29th
August, 1978 (Fluoridation Act was passed 1973) the Age reported:
"The Premier Mr Hamer
announced an investigation into School Tuck Shop diets."
"He said the Health
Department would investigate dental side effects of Tuck Shop diets ..."
So fluoridation was not the
answer to dental health, it was diet! Tuck shops must change children's food
to protect scientific and political hoax of fluoridation. Health science
coming up in the new century 2000 is now declared by the Therapeutic Goods
Advertising Code that:
"Solid evidence will
be required before such goods can be advertised."
"Under the code all
advertising claims, including comparisons to other prescriptions and
nonprescription products, must be accompanied by evidence."
They do not qualify just
what evidence is required. If properly and legally implemented it would be
interesting to question so many drugs now sold and prescribed, and why
numbers of these were removed from public sales and use, even though they
had passed all Government evidence of safety in the past.
Will drug companies and
fluoride promoters be exempt, and this law only relate to vitamins and cheap
natural remedies? Advertisements permeate the airways on fluoride
toothpaste, even though there are health warnings about its use, especially
for children (N.H. and M.R.C.). A heading in one Australian paper stated:
"Fluoride can harm
children's teeth."
That message, 2000, was
from the Australian Dental Association. They stated:
"Ingesting too much
fluoride from toothpaste can result in dental fluorosis, mottled teeth."
The National Health and
Medical Research Council in their publication "The Effectiveness of Water
Fluoridation", 1991, page 129, stated:
"A great prevalence
and severity of dental fluorosis is not only the first sign of toxicity
but has the advantage of being readily diagnosed."
The A.D.A. President is
reported:
"Toothpaste should not
be used at all in children under 2." (Adelaide 7th January, 2000)
Will the Therapeutic Goods
Advertising Code address fluoride toothpaste advertisements? That Government
Agency would not agree to follow overseas countries that forced warning
notices on fluoride toothpaste containers as serious information for the
public, and its use.
Dental fluorosis is
caused by fluoride. It is the body's window to the first sign of fluoride
poisoning. Dental fluorosis is in epidemic proportions within Australia
and indeed throughout fluoridated cities worldwide. Logic demonstrates this
means millions of children are being daily poisoned with fluoride chemicals,
some by choice, others by Government dictatorship. Medical logic is the
missing link in true fluoride science. There is no research by Governments
(the group that represent you and responsible to preserve your health and
that of your family) into what other body cells are damaged by fluoride in
children who have discoloured enamel caused by dental cells killed by
fluoride chemicals. Fluoride, the propagandised ultimate in tooth decay, is
now running a bad last in today's media. Almost every day a new discovery is
published denoting a benefit to stop tooth decay, which we are told by
dental scientists and our Governments, that dental decay does not exist.
The Herald-Sun 18th August,
2000 reports on "Research by New York State University" and printed in
American Journal of Periodontology found that men and women whose intake of
calcium was less than 500 mg a day were almost twice as likely as those who
ate more calcium to have gum disease and tooth decay. A major study
involving nearly 13,000 people has confirmed the theory that regular
helpings of milk, cheese and yoghurt can ward off decay. The Herald-Sun
followed that with "sweeter teeth" on 25th August, 2000.
"Eating chocolate can
help fight tooth decay. Japanese experts revealed in 'New Scientist'
magazine that they hope to create a toothpaste or mouthwash based on
chocolate extracts."
But there is more! The Age,
8th August, 2000 reported:
"Say cheese may save
your teeth. Eating pizza may reduce visits to the dentist, but a cube of
cheddar could do better, research shows. Australian Dental Association
said evidence was mounting on the benefits of cheese to tooth enamel. Dr
Zoldan, Chairman of the A.D.A. Dental Health Education Research Committee
said cheese counteracted the destructive effects of plaque"
What about the absolute
guarantee that fluoridated drinking water supplies stops tooth decay?
Remember the promise by your Government, your political representative,
backed by the A.D.A., A.M.A., universities, dental schools and the overall
controller, the fluoride lobby? Fluoridation is safe and effective. There
will be no more dental decay and very few dentists, people will have decay
free teeth all their lives. Dental scientists and indeed just ordinary
dentists, seem to graduate from kindergarten to university and then revert
to kindergarten logic.
Fluoridation herd
treatment of humans seems the paramount policy of your caring Government.
The mass media in concert with the all incorporating international fluoride
lobby has developed the concensus on fluoride chemicals, but true science
remains cast in stone, mirroring the future collapse of the great commercial
fluoridation scientific hoax. Fluoridation is politically and financially
powerful, but scientifically weak.

OBITUARY
JOHN YIAMOUYIANNIS
John Y, as he was known
to so many throughout the world, passed away at his home in Ohio, 8th
October, 2000. John was a world-class Biochemist with a record of
progressive intelligence relating especially to fluoridation, a record
difficult to replace, but his scientific work will be well established
in present day history. The fluoridation crusade John followed, captured
countless friends world-wide, so many admirers, but unfortunately his
superior knowledge also established a distinct government opposition
where the lowest form of scientific behaviour was employed to counter
him. The pressures under which John worked on fluoridation were
enormous. Most of it was of a personal nature, because the fluoride
disciples could never match John's ability to debate and present matters
of true science compared with the ragtime unscientific opposition from
other countries of the world. John visited Australia in 1977 at our
request. The main sponsor, Mr Don Heggie of Port Kembla, was concerned
about a referendum on fluoridation to be held in his area. John did not
take home a very good impression of Australian politicians, doctors,
dentists and bureaucrats in general. During his 1977 visit we proposed
to those fluoride people to grasp this important opportunity to publicly
debate fluoridation with John Y, and discredit both him and our
Australian Association supporters and our scientific evidence. The
Government hid behind "press releases", but John gave lectures on
fluoridation, especially relating to his research with Dean Burk and
their Attorney, John Graham. The "unofficial debates" were in Nowra,
Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne, where the Government's kindergarten
scientific knowledge of fluoridation was exposed. There was a referenda
for fluoridation at Nowra, and the Government sent their "top guns" not
to debate the subject with John, but to con the public into believing
all their fluoridation propaganda. In the Nowra Town Hall we forced a
"debate". The "expert" from the Government was Dr William McBride,
enough said. We then went to Canberra for a hurried "debate". A
professor was John's opponent. The professor opened his address by
saying, "I don't know much about fluoridation," and that proved he was
telling the truth. Same day John lectured in Sydney, where we had an
agreement with the A.D.A. that their President would debate, but at the
very last moment, at the start of the meeting, the A.D.A. President
refused to come on stage. It was my problem as Chairman of that meeting
to (1) quieten the audience who were getting dangerously restless at the
delay, and (2) get a speaker on behalf of the A.D.A. fluoridation
experts present. Finally, Professor N. Martin agreed to debate. I
remember speaking to both men and setting the rules for the debate. Only
one followed the arrangement, because they had no evidence to counter
John's fluoridation ? cancer studies. The same followed in Melbourne,
where abuse was the main purpose of the fluoridation supporters who came
to the meeting. The kind of abuse by fluoridationists before the lecture
caused me to request the presence of police, and just as well. Close to
a fight broke out between a dental idiot and one of those who came to
hear John Y. The police officer told me he was watching carefully and
about to pounce on the dental agitator. How they treasure and guard
their fluoride hoax. John Yiamouyiannis is a hero in Australia, a very
respected scientist, a man who could not be bent, not uncommon in the
fluoridation racket world-wide. At my request he submitted to the
Federal Government's N.H. and M.R.C. Fluoride Investigation 1993, a 200
page Submission which was completely ignored. John left a legacy in this
country that has stood the test of time through true science.
Fortunately, John published his book, "Fluoridation the Ageing Factor"
in 1993, but his scientific monument will be forever cast in the legal
history of fluoridation, where other scientists and politicians were
bought for "30 pieces of silver". Our sympathy and respect to John's
family, who will understand his historic success against overwhelming
odds.
